This Ausf. G (Fstg.Nr. 65732 converted to a Tauchpanzer) is one of the first (if not the first) Pz.Kpfw.III completed by Miag with a 5 cm Kw.K. L/42 in July 1940.

Starting in May 1940, because of high wear, the rubber tires on the Laufrollen (roadwheels) were widened from 75 to 95 mm.
